Hacer unas galletas con nueces de macadamia y chocolate blanco consiste en mezclar en un bol los ingredientes, enfriar y hornear. Fácil, ¿verdad? Pues además, el tiempo en el horno es relativamente corto y en más o menos un cuarto de hora tendrás galletas calentitas. El único detalle importante que tiene hacer galletas caseras es que al ponerlas en la bandeja para hornear hay que separarlas bien para que cuando crezcan en el horneado no se peguen unas a otras.

Uno de los primeros experimentos desastrosos en la cocina fue cuando hice galletas de mantequilla por primera vez. Me gustan mucho esas galletas y cuando vivía en mi pueblo no podía comerlas todo lo que quería, porque allí no las vendían. Así que cuando descubrí en un libro de cocina (que no recuerdo cuál era) la receta, me puse manos a la obra. ¡Voy a poder comer galletas casi a todas horas! -pensé. Iluso de mi, del horno salió un mazacote enorme, pues las galletas se juntaron unas con otras, que cuando se enfrió se puso tan duro que no hubo manera de comerlo. De eso hace ya mucho tiempo.
